Update: March 5, 2024 – Alhamdulillah, UMA has collected sufficient funds to provide assistance to local needy families. Unfortunately, due to insufficient time due to Ramadan, it was decided to directly deliver direct monetary assistance instead of grocery items. With our community’s support, we have been able to assist 16 local families. May Allah (swt) accept everybody’s efforts – Ameen
Feb 26, 2024: For the last few years, UMA has been preparing and providing Ramadan donation boxes (that include grocery items) in the beginning of Ramadan to help local needy Muslim families .
We are asking the community to please support this cause as much as you can. Please don’t forget that any amount can make a big difference. Please check email for donations and further communications (or reach out to any UMA Member for assistance).
The cutoff date for this cause is Friday, 01 March, as we need to purchase grocery this coming weekend.
Donation box preparation will be in the weekend InShaa’Allah (March 08 -09).
